Returns, Shipping & Warranty
Snap Shades is a mesh-type shade, this allows you to see through the mesh. However, the visibility is not comparable as a window without one.
Please ensure that your blind spot is visible while driving and comply to your local laws and regulations.
During clear sunny days, vision looking into the vehicle from the outside is reduced, increasing privacy but you can still see through it.
We recommend to remove the shades at night. Please check with your local authority/laws on the legality of temporary sun mesh sun shades like Snap Shades.
Yes and No. Each Snap Shade will attach different to each vehicle, some are more suited for windows down than others. Thus, we do not recommend windows to be wound fully down when the vehicle is in motion. It also depends on the speed you are going and the environment you are in. As a rule of thumb, the windows should only be open 50%, travelling up to 30 mph.
Please ensure that when you open the window that it does not automatically open fully and only open the window while stationary.
Snap Shades will not provide free replacements for loss of your purchase. Please contact us to purchase a single replacement, shipping costs apply.
If you vehicle does not have any exposed metal around the car frame for the Snap Shade to attached to, you will need the magnetic mounts (magnets do not stick to aluminum). These mounts will be provided along with your purchase for free. In the product description and name there will be an asterisk (*) , this indicates whether your model/make will require the magnetic mounts.
Snap shades are made of high quality memory metal in the frame, with high strength magnets embedded in. The mesh is a UV resistance polyester material, which is also designed to reduce the heat from the sun.
We do not use PVC, ABS or any flame retardants in our products.
We expect fair wear and tear over time. However, as Snap Shades are installed on the inside of a vehicle, they are less likely to stretch, fade, become brittle and tear due to the sun, rain and wind.
We provide a one year warranty on workmanship and fading.

First we need to confirm if the wrong Snap Shades were sent to you and then secondly we need to verify if the installation was carried out as per design. To help our team to quickly assist you, please take photos of :
- the pick list sheet
- the Snap Shades themselves
- the small white tag on the clear plastic bag
- the installation from multiple angle
- your car from the front, side and back.
Snap Shades are unique for each vehicle and the installation will be as well. Small adjustments can be made to fix the issue and our support team are here to help.
If our support team cannot resolve the fitment issue, you will be covered by our Fitment Guarantee. A return shipping label will be provided and a refund will be process once they are received by Snap Shades.
In the unlikely event that your Snap Shades arrived damaged or faulty, you must not continue to use the shades and place them in the original packaging it was delivered in. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase for further instructions on how to return the shades. You can read our returns policy here.
Options for a refund or replacement of the Snap Shades is offered in this situation.
The customer will be responsible for return postage costs for return or exchanges relating to incorrect items/s ordered.

Once all the information has been received, reviewed and confirmed by the Snap Shades team, we will organize to either refund or exchange the product for you. Please contact us prior to placing an order if you are unsure which item best suits your vehicle.
Yes, we ship to Canada. At the moment, most Snap Shades are drop shipped from Sydney, Australia. Customers maybe subjected to further tax through customs. Please refer to our returns policy for further information before making a purchase.
We currently ship from Sydney, Australia with limited stock in New York.
Shipping typically takes 2 to 3 weeks, door to door. However, during the pandemic shipping carriers experience logistical interuptions, which lead to delays. Even though logistic chains have recovered, there will be shipments that may be delayed that are out of Snap Shades control.
This means the package is already on a plane and is on it’s way. Please allow up to 7 days for new tracking information.
